Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan has said that more than 50 crore poor and vulnerable citizens will be eligible for free COVID- 19 testing and treatment under Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana- PMJAY.

Geo-fencing app will be used to locate quarantine violators

The government has tested an app that triggers e-mails & SMS alerts to a government agency if a person has jumped quarantine, based on the person’s mobile phone’s cell tower location. The geo-fencing is accurate up to 300 m.
