The Government of India, the Government of Tamil Nadu and the World Bank signed legal agreements for two projects- $200 million 1st Tamil Nadu Housing Sector Strengthening Programme and $50 million Tamil Nadu Housing and Habitat Development Project.
Loan Maturity- 20 years including a grace period of 3.5 years.
Electronics and IT Ministry said in a release that Government has banned 59 mobile apps which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order. The banned apps include TikTok, Helo and WeChat.

Government has announced the launch of seven-year Floating Rate Savings Bonds, 2020 (Taxable) scheme commencing from 1st July. Bonds will enable a person resident in India or Hindu Undivided Family to invest in a taxable bond, without any monetary ceiling.
The interest on the bonds is payable semi-annually.

In Mizoram, the people are celebrating the 34th anniversary of the signing of the historic Mizo peace accord on 30 June. The peace accord was signed between the Union government and the erstwhile underground Mizo National Front (MNF) on 30th June in 1986.

CBIC said that 30 June is the last date for payment of dues under Sabka Vishwas (Legacy Dispute Resolution) Scheme, 2019. The main objective of the scheme is to free the large number of small taxpayers of their pending disputes with the tax administration.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray launched world's largest plasma therapy trials for COVID-19 - Project Platina - aimed at creating robust data for treating the disease for which no specific line of treatment exists. Project will be free of cost.
The trials will be conducted in 17 medical colleges.
Appointments Committee has approved the re-appointment of senior advocate Tushar Mehta as Solicitor General for a period of 3 years. Senior advocate K.K. Venugopal has also been reappointed to the post of Attorney General for India for a period of 1 year.
New ASGs for SC for a period of 3 years are also appointed.
A concession agreement for the first Indo-Bhutan joint venture hydroelectric project was signed, paving the way for the commencement of its construction and other related works. The 600 MW run-of-the-river project is located in the Kholongchhu river.
The project is expected to be completed in 2025.
Government launched the PM Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PM FME) scheme as a part of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan’. Scheme will generate total investment of Rs 35,000 crore and generate 9 lakh skilled and semi-skilled employment.

In a 1st for India, the AAP- led Delhi government launched a plasma bank for treating covid-19 patients. Delhi was one of the 1st states to give permission for plasma therapy in April. Facility is to be set up at the Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences.
Kerala had announced plans to set up a plasma bank.
The government has approved an additional Rs 1,691 crore for highway works by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) in Jammu & Kashmir and Uttarakhand for 2020-21. Of this, Rs 1,351.10 crore has been sanctioned to BRO for road works in Jammu & Kashmir.
A total of Rs 340 Cr ceiling has been approved for Uttarakhand.
With an aim to protect, conserve & cultivate lichen, Uttarakhand Forest Department has developed India’s first lichen park in Munsiyari in Pithoragarh dt. The development of the park, which is spread across an area of 1.5 acres, began in the year 2019.
Lichen is formed by a symbiotic relationship b/w algae & fungus.
