India ranked in top 50 nations in the Global Innovation Index 2020

India is ranked 48 in the Global Innovation Index compiled by World Intellectual Property along with Cornell University & INSEAD. It presents the innovation ranking in 131 economies. Switzerland, Sweden, USA, UK & Netherlands were placed in the top five.

Real GDP likely to contract by 10.9% in FY21: SBI Ecowrap

According to SBI’s Ecowrap, real GDP for FY21 is expected to shrink by 10.9%. It had earlier estimated real gross domestic product (GDP) at (-) 6.8% for the current fiscal. India’s GDP growth plunged to 23.9% in Q1 FY21 due to the nationwide lockdown.

MoD inks contracts worth Rs 2,580 cr for supply of Pinaka Regiments to Indian Army
