Bhagat Singh was born in Banga village of undivided Punjab province on 28th Sept. 1907. The revolutionary freedom fighter was executed by the British at the age of 23. He was hanged in the Lahore jail along with Rajguru and Sukhdev on Mar. 23, 1931.
