This first of a kind museum has been set by the Mysuru Forest Divison at the Sandalwood Depot in Aranya Bhavan, Mysuru. The museum is a platform for discerning visitors to know about sandalwood classification, farming techniques, and types of sandalwood.
Sandalwood is an evergreen tree native to India and Indonesia.
