SISFS has been approved for next 4 yrs starting from 2021-22. It will be implemented w.e.f. 1st April 2021. It aims to provide financial assistance to startups for proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, market entry, and commercialization
The scheme is expected to support about 3600 startups.

Kerala's first Human Milk Bank, a state-of-art facility was opened at the Ernakulam general hospital. It was set up with the support of Rotary Club of Cochin Global to ensure breast milk for newborn babies, who are not being breastfed by their own mothers.
The milk can be safely stored up to 6 months safely in the bank.

US has extended New START (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty) nuclear arms control treaty with Russia for 5 yrs. It limits US & Russia to deploying more than 1,550 strategic nuclear warheads each & imposes restrictions on missiles & bombers to deliver them.
The treaty first went into effect in 2011.

RBI has announced certain measures for common bank account holders. It includes setting up of 24*7 helpline for digital payment services, integrated ombudsman scheme, CTS across all bank branches & allowing retail investors to open Gilt accounts with RBI.
Integrated Ombudsman Scheme will be rolled out in June 2021.
