Indian Navy received for the first time a fully indigenised fuze YDB-60 for underwater Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Rocket RGB-60 used from major warships, through a private manufacturer Economic Explosives Limited (EEL), Nagpur.
This would be the first time the Indian Navy has placed supply order for underwater ammunition fuze on an Indian Private industry.
The US Air Force C-17 aircraft landed in Bengaluru and handed over NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR) NISAR to the Indian space agency which marks a milestone in the US-India ties in space collaboration.
The satellite will operate for a minimum of three years. It is a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) observatory. NISAR will map the entire globe in 12 days.

Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag district, which houses the Kedarnath shrine, has "maximum exposure to landslide risk in the country", according to to the 'Landslide Atlas' report prepared by Hyderabad-based National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
