GQG Partners checks in at GMR Airports Infrastructure, buys 4.7% stake

GQG Partners acquired a 4.7 per cent stake in GMR Airports Infrastructure on Friday, sending the stock up 12 per cent.

The US-based boutique investment firm, which has gained prominence because of its successful investments in Adani group stocks, purchased shares at Rs 59.1 each, amounting to a total outgo of Rs 1,672 crore, according to data provided by BSE.

Bimal Dayal appointed as CEO of Adani Infra India

Adani Energy Solutions’ transmission business chief Bimal Dayal has been appointed as the CEO of Adani Infrastructure India. Dayal will oversee the implementation of the pipeline of infrastructure projects in thermal, renewable energy and green hydrogen by Adani Infrastructure India, Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) said in a statement on Friday.

India has been placed 7th in this year's Climate Change Performance Index (CCPI). The country improved one rank from the previous one, and also remained among the highest performers.
