RRB NTPC Typing Proficiency Test

Candidates applying for posts such as Junior Clerk Cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Accounts Clerk Cum Typist, Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, etc are required to take the typing proficiency test. The requirements for the typing test under RRB NTPC 2025 are as follows:

  • The board will provide guidelines for the typing skill test.
  • Candidates with certain permanent disabilities, including visual impairments (blindness/low vision), cerebral palsy, and locomotor disabilities (with at least 40% permanent disability), may be exempt from the Typing Skill Test. These candidates must upload a scanned copy of the Typing Skill Test Exemption Certificate issued by a Competent Medical Board to the respective RRB’s website before the test.
  • Merit will be determined only for candidates who pass the typing skill test.”

RRB NTPC 2025 Nationality

The RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria also includes the nationality of the candidates. The details regarding the candidate’s citizenship are given below:

  • Candidates must be a citizen of India.
  • Candidates can also be a subject of Bhutan or Nepal.
  • Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, to settle permanently, are also eligible.
  • Individuals of Indian origin who have migrated from Burma, Pakistan, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to settle permanently in India are also eligible.

As per last year’s notification for RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria, the authorities have stated that there is no requirement for any previous work experience from candidates.
