About CTET Exam
CTET exam is conducted twice annually for the recruitment of teachers in Primary and upper primary stages in public & private schools. This paper is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The 2 cycles of paper are conducted in July & December month every year.
CTET 2022 Exam Latest Update
The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 16th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode in December 2022(exact date will be intimated on the admit card of the candidate).
- The detailed Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates will be available on CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in shortly and the aspiring candidates are requested to download the Information Bulletin from the above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying.
- The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through CTET website i.e. https://ctet.nic.in. The dates for online application-process will be intimated during the course of time. The application fee applicable for CTET Dec-2022 is as under:

- The test will be conducted in 20 (Twenty) languages throughout the country.
CTET 2021 Exam Update
The e-Admit Cards of candidates (who have paid the fees) and allotted examination dates during 16th – 31st December 2021 have been uploaded on the CTET website https://ctet.nic.in/. The admit cards for the candidates who have been allotted dates of examination during 01st – 13th January 2022 will be uploaded in due course of time.
The admit cards for all candidates will be uploaded in two phases. The first phase of admit cards will contain the information of the City and Date of Examination to enable the candidate(s) to make plan accordingly. The second phase of admit cards with information of examination centre and shift of examination will be available on the website 02 days before the examination. The candidates are advised to download their e-admit card of first phase and the second phase from above website.

CTET 2021 Notification
The Central Board of Secondary Education released the notification for the recruitment of teachers in the primary and upper primary stage across the country. CTET is a bi-annual exam conducted twice a year, one in July and the other in December. Candidates need to score at least 90 out of 150 marks to clear the exam. Important dates, cutoffs and admit card dates will be shared with the official notification.

Educational Qualifications
For Candidates Aspiring to teach (Classes I-V) - Primary Stage
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*. OR "Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)" ((a) who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two year of such appointment as a primary teacher.)
For Candidates Aspiring to teach (Classes VI-VIII) - Elementary Stage
Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*. OR Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Program recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.

CTET 2021 Vacancy - Details
The CTET exam is more of a certification exam and does not need any number of vacancies for direct recruitment. Candidates become eligible to take up the teaching job after clearing the CTET exam.

Prerequisites for Applying Online
