GOI, in consultation with RBI, will issue Sovereign Gold Bonds-2018-19. It will be issued every month from Oct 2018 to Feb 2019. The maximum limit will be 4 KG for individual/HUF and 20 Kg for trusts. Tenor of the Bond will be for a period of 8 years
Minimum permissible investment will be 1 gram of gold.
National Housing Bank (NHB) has decided to increase the Refinance limit to Rs.30,000 cr form the earlier set limit of Rs. 24,000 cr. This refinancing is a credit flow to Housing Finance Companies & other Institutions.
