India-Bangladesh Stakeholders’ Meet begins in Guwahati with 70-members from both nations. The idea of the meet is to put Assam at the focus point of India’s trade expansion with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations besides Bangladesh, Bhutan & Nepal.
Trade & connectivity will be the agenda of the meet.

Delhi Govt has agreed to implement the Central scheme PM-KISAN under which income support of 6,000 Rs is provided to each eligible farmer. Under the scheme, which was launched in February crediting is done as 3 equal instalments to the bank accounts.
West Bengal & Delhi had earlier refused to implement the scheme.
