Govt unveils PM SVANIDHI scheme to provide affordable loans to street vendors

The Union Government has launched PM SVANIDHI -Pradhan Mantri Street Vendor’s Atmanirbhar Nidhi - a special micro-credit facility scheme for providing affordable loan to street vendors. It is aimed at enabling the street vendors to resume their livelihood.

Kisan Credit Cards (KCC) campaign launched for 1.5 crore dairy farmers

The Government will provide Kisan Credit Card (KCC) to 1.5 crore dairy farmers belonging to Milk Unions and Milk producing Companies within the next two months under a special drive. It is a part of Prime Minister’s Atma-Nirbhar Bharat package for farmers.

Odisha, Sikkim and Mizoram are the three more states that have been included under the One Nation One Ration Card scheme. Consumer Affairs Minister announced the inclusion of these states in the scheme on Integrated Management of Public Distribution System

Moody’s downgrades India rating for the first time in 22 years

Global rating agency Moody's Investors Service downgraded India's sovereign rating to the lowest investment grade. The lowering of the rating from Baa2 to Baa3 brings it on par with S&P and Fitch India which rate India at BBB (minus), the lowest grade.
