EPFO released Rs 868 crore pension along with Rs 105 cr arrear on account of restoration of commuted value of pension. Commutation is an option given to EPFO pensioners to convert a part of their monthly pension into a lumpsum payment during retirement.

The Union Government has launched PM SVANIDHI -Pradhan Mantri Street Vendor’s Atmanirbhar Nidhi - a special micro-credit facility scheme for providing affordable loan to street vendors. It is aimed at enabling the street vendors to resume their livelihood.
The scheme targets to benefit over 50 lakh street vendors.
