Acemoney launches all-in-one payment device

Leading fintech company Acemoney has launched an all-in-one payment device. It incorporates micro ATM, Aadhaar ATM, and POS in a single device.

The device will not only act as a POS device but enable merchants to offer other services.

Customers will be able to withdraw cash using biometric system that facilitates card-based or Aadhaar-based financial transactions.

Fino Payments Bank joins Hubble to introduce spending account

Fino Payments Bank said it has entered into a tie-up with Sequoia Capital-backed fintech Hubble to introduce India’s first spending account.

The bank said customers can park their funds, spend (on categories such as food ordering, shopping, travel, entertainment etc.) and save up to 10 per cent on all purchases made from the account.

Bihar State Cooperative Bank fined Rs 60.20 lakh by RBI for multiple deficiencies

The Reserve Bank imposed a penalty of Rs 60.20 lakh on The Bihar State Cooperative Bank Limited, Patna, for a slew of shortcomings and violations.

The RBI said that a statutory inspection of the Patna-based bank by NABARD after FY20 had revealed that it failed to put in robust software for identifying and reporting suspicious transactions.
