Eligibility Criteria
The candidates applying for the Assistant Manager recruitment exam must meet the required eligibility criteria.

Candidates must be either
(i) a citizen of India
(ii) a subject of Nepal
(iii) a subject of Bhutan
(iv) a Tibetan refugee who wanted to permanently settle in India and came to the country before 1st January 1962
(e) a person of an Indian origin, who has come from Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East-African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Zaire, Malawi, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to settle (permanently) in the country, provided that the candidate belonging to category (ii), (iii), (iv) or (v) should be an individual in whose favour an eligibility certificate has been issued by the Indian Government. The candidate, in whose case an eligibility certificate is necessary, might be included in the recruitment process held by IDBI, but during the final selection, the appointment offer will be given only after the required eligibility certificate has been issued to him/ her by the Indian Govt.
