KPTCL Exam Pattern
KPTCL holds recruitment for different posts in the Corp. and ESCOM. For the recruitment to the posts, KPTCL conducts an exam known as KPTCL Exam. It is basically to test the technical knowledge of candidates in their respective fields. The selection process is divided into two parts which are as follows:
Written Exam:
There is a written exam for the eligible candidates. The written exam is the first qualifying round of the KPTCL Exam.
Interview:
The Candidates who clear the written exam will sit for the interview round. Those candidates whose names are on the merit list after Written Exam will be eligible for the interview.
Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical), Assistant Engineer (Electrical or Civil) should have passed the 10th standard with Kannada as 1st or 2nd language. If the candidate has not studied the Kannada language, he/she must appear in the Kannada Language Test conducted before the Aptitude test. The details for the Kannada Language test is as follows:
- Total no. of Marks is 150 Marks.
- Marks required to pass are 50 Marks.
- The Kannada Language Test is conducted only in Bangalore.
