RBI Assistant 2018 Vacancy City wise, Exam Dates, Eligibility Criteria

The Reserve Bank of India is one of the most prestigious organizations of the country. RBI conducts direct recruitment of eligible candidates through an online examination every year. There are several perks and benefits of working in this sector, which is why thousands and lakhs of students aspire to sit for the examination.

RBI Assistant 2018 Vacancy City wise: Number of vacancies

Each year the number of rbi assistant 2018 vacancy city wise for the post of RBI Assistant change. Last year, RBI had declared 623 vacant seats for the post.

This year, the notification for online recruitment has not been released yet. 

RBI will hold the online examination to fill up the vacant seats (exact number of vacancies is yet to be published).

RBI declares vacancies for the cities where they operate.

RBI Assistant 2018 Eligibility criteria

Candidates who wish to sit for the online RBI Assistant exam must fulfill the eligibility criteria in order to register for the same.

Age criteria 

  • The age of the candidate should be between 20-28 years (as on 01/10/2018)
  • Age relaxation of 5 years and 3 years is given to SC/ST and OBC candidates respectively
  • For PWD, the age relaxation is given as 10 years for General candidates, 13 years for OBC candidates, 15 years for SC/ST candidates
  • The age relaxation for divorced women/widows/ judicially separated women who are not re-married is given as 10 years
  • Age relaxation given to candidates belonging to the provincial state of Jammu and Kashmir is 5 years

Educational qualification

  • The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks under a recognized university
  • The candidate should have complete knowledge of Word processing on the computer
