The RRB Group D 2024 selection process consists of three stages that candidates need to be familiar with. The stages are:

RRB Group D Exam Pattern 2024

RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test Details
Candidates who clear the CBT stage will qualify for the PET exam. RRB officials will examine three times the number of candidates against the actual open vacancies to determine eligibility for the posts. The criteria for PET differ between male and female candidates and are as follows:
For Male Candidates:
- Weight Carrying: Must lift and carry 35 kg for a distance of 100 meters within 2 minutes without putting the weight down (one attempt only).
- Running: Must run 1000 meters within 4 minutes and 15 seconds (one attempt only).
For Female Candidates:
- Weight Carrying: Must lift and carry 20 kg for a distance of 100 meters within 2 minutes without putting the weight down (one attempt only).
- Running: Must run 1000 meters within 5 minutes and 40 seconds (one attempt only)
RRB Group D Document Verification
Following candidate’s performance in the CBT and qualification in the PET, candidates twice the number of vacancies will be called for Document Verification based on their merit and preferences.
RRB Group D Minimum Qualifying Marks
- Negative marking will apply, with 1/3 of a mark deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Each correct answer will earn 1 mark.
- The exam will consist of objective-type questions with multiple-choice options.
