  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 intending permanent settlement, or
  • A person of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries to settle in India permanently.

Age Limit (as on 01.11.2025)
 

The minimum age to apply is 21 years, and the maximum age is 30 years, i.e., A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.11.1995 and not later than 01.11.2004 (both the dates inclusive). Relaxations in upper age limit are applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.
