RBI Grade B Phase 1 Admit Card has been released on 24th July 2023 for the Generalist Post. We have shared below the direct link to check RBI Grade B Admit Card 2023 for Phase 2. The application process had been closed on 16th June 2023. RBI Grade B Exam Dates 2023 had been released on 9th May 2023 for all three posts, General, DEPR & DSIM.

RBI Grade B Notification 2023 Out
The RBI Grade B Application Process started on May 9th and will continue till June 16th, 2023. Phase 1 was conducted on July 9, 2023, and Phase 2 was conducted on 30th July 2023 for General Posts. A total of 291 vacancies have been released. For DEPR, Phase 1 was on 16th July 2023 and Phase 2 will be on 2nd September 2023. For DSIM, Phase 1 was on 16th July 2023 and Phase 2 will be on 19th August 2023.

List of Changes in RBI Grade B Notification 2023
As we all know the RBI Grade B 2023 Notification had been released on 9th May 2023, it is very important to know what changes have been introduced in the 2023 notification. The RBI Grade B application form has five sections. Filling up the RBI Grade B officer application form involves the following steps-

RBI Grade B Application Fee 2023
The candidates will have to pay the RBI Grade B Application Fee along with the application form otherwise the application form will not be accepted. The category-wise distribution of the application fee is mentioned below.

RBI Grade B Notification 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates intending to apply for RBI Grade B 2023 exam should ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria as specified by RBI in their advertisement. If they did not fulfill the RBI Grade B Eligibility then their candidature may be canceled at any stage of the selection process during RBI Grade B Recruitment 2023.
RBI Grade B Age Limit 2023 (As on 1st May, 2023)
As far as RBI Grade B Age Limit 2023 is concerned, the minimum age to apply for the RBI Grade B officer exam is 21 years. You should have completed 21 years of age as of the 1st of May 2023.
The maximum age to apply for the RBI Grade B officer exam is 30 years of age. This means you should not be 30 years of age.
Note: He/she must have been born not earlier than May 02, 1993 and not later than May 01, 2002.
RBI Grade B 2023 Category Wise Age Relaxations
The upper age limit extension for RBI Grade B exam aspirants is as mentioned below:

RBI Grade B Number of Attempts 2023
The candidates must make a note that there is a limitation on the number of attempts as well. For General/EWS category candidates, there is a restriction of 6 attempts whereas for other categories SC/ST/PwD/OBC, there is no restriction on the number of attempts.
RBI Grade B Education Qualification 2023
To meet RBI Grade B Eligibility, the candidates will have to fulfill the educational qualification as well. Below we have given the post-wise RBI Grade B Educational Qualification 2023, do check it out.
(a) Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–(General):
Graduation in any discipline /Equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) or PostGraduation in any discipline / Equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in the aggregate of all semesters/years.
Note:
Graduation Level:
Any such course from a recognized University / Institute that is taken after Class XII and is at least of 3 years duration/ candidates possessing professional or technical qualifications which are recognized by the Government as equivalent to professional or technical graduation will be eligible for admission to the examination, subject to obtaining minimum marks prescribed above.
Post-Graduation Level:
Any such course from a recognized University / Institute that is taken after Graduation and is at least of 2 years duration / recognized by the Government as equivalent to professional or technical Post-graduation will be eligible for admission to the examination, subject to obtaining minimum marks prescribed above.
(b) Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–DEPR: a. A Master’s Degree in Economics (or any other master’s degree where “Economics” is the principal constituent* of the curriculum/syllabus, namely MA / MSc in Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Economics, Financial Economics, Business Economics, Agricultural Economics, and Industrial Economics) OR
b. A Master’s Degree in Finance (or any other master’s degree where “Finance” is the principal constituent* of the curriculum/syllabus, namely MA / MSc in Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, Quantitative Techniques, International Finance, Business Finance, Banking and Trade Finance, International and Trade Finance, Project and Infrastructure Finance, Agri Business Finance).
For a) and b) above, a minimum of 55 percent marks or an equivalent grade is required in aggregate of all semesters/years from a recognized Indian or foreign University / Institute.
(c) Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–DSIM: a. A Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics/ Applied Statistics & Informatics with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years; OR
b. Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years and a one-year postgraduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an Institute of repute; OR
c. Master’s degree course in Data Science/ Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning/ Big Data Analytics, with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years from a recognized University/ Institute, an institute of national importance, UGC/ AICTE approved programme; OR
d. Four-year Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years in Data Science/ AI/ ML/ Big Data Analytics from a recognized University/ Institute, an institute of national importance, UGC/ AICTE approved programme; OR
e. Two years Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years from a recognized University/ Institute, an institute of national importance, UGC/ AICTE approved programme.
RBI Grade B Selection Process 2023
Phase 1 of the RBI Grade B 2023 Exam is qualifying in nature. Phase 2 will have both objective and descriptive questions. Phase 3 which is Interview, will be conducted for a total of 75 marks. The following is the RBI Grade B Selection Process:

RBI Grade B Exam Pattern (Phase 1: Prelims)
The RBI Grade B Prelims exam consists of 4 sections: Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. The detailed exam pattern in a tabular format is presented below.

RBI Grade B Notification 2023: Negative Marking
There is a negative marking in the RBI Grade B Exam 2023 (Phase 1). 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted for every wrong/incorrect answer.
RBI Grade B Exam Pattern Phase 2 Mains
The RBI Grade B Mains exam consists of three papers: Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3. Paper 1 and 3 are a combination of both objective and descriptive questions, while Paper 2 is completely descriptive in nature. The detailed format is presented below in a tabular format.

RBI Grade B Phase 3: Interview
Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, based on the aggregate of marks obtained in Phase 2 (Paper 1 + Paper 2 + Paper 3). The minimum aggregate cut-off marks for being shortlisted for an interview will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies. Roll No. of the candidates shortlisted for interview will be published on the RBI website at an appropriate time and interview call letters will be sent to the registered email ID.
The interview will comprise 75 marks.
The candidate shall be required to undergo Psychometric Test conducted by the Bank before appearing for the Interview. No marks will be allotted for the same and this will not form part of the final selection criteria.
Candidates may opt for an interview either in Hindi or English.
Final Selection will be through a merit list which will be prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in the Phase 2 examination and interview and grace marks as applicable as per extant rules.

RBI Grade B Preparation Strategy 2023
The candidates must check out the below points to know the RBI Grade B Preparation Strategy.
- English: Your target must be to attempt 25 questions in 18 -20 minutes.
- General Awareness: You must attempt 65-70 questions in 20 minutes with high accuracy. Don’t panic or attempt wrong if you don’t know some questions. You have room to leave 10-15 questions. If you don’t know how to prepare & score well in GA, check out How to Score 55+/80 in the General Awareness section.
- Quantitative Aptitude: You must target at least 15 correct questions in 25-30 minutes. After doing 15 correct questions, move to the next section & if time permits come back to do 3-4 more correct questions.
- Reasoning: A minimum of 35 questions must be attempted if all are correct. Otherwise 40 questions with high accuracy in 45-50 minutes.

RBI Grade B 2023 admit cards for the online exam of Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be out on the official website of RBI at least 10 to 15 days before the date of the exam. Candidates will have to visit the official RBI website for downloading call letters for RBI Grade B online examination. Intimation for downloading call letters will also be sent through email/SMS.
The candidate is required to use:
(i) Registration Number/Roll Number,
(ii) Password/Date of Birth for downloading the call letter.
