SIDBI Grade A Eligibility has been released along with the detailed notification on 8th November 2023. The candidates must make sure that they meet all the SIDBI Grade A Eligibility parameters to avoid any kind of issue in their recruitment process. The parameters on which eligibility will be checked are nationality, age limit, educational qualification and experience.

SIDBI Grade A Eligibility 2023-24

Before we move on to the detailed SIDBI Grade A Eligibility, let us look at the cut off dates that are extremely important.

The eligibility criteria for SDIBI Grade A Recruitment 2023-24 has been discussed in detail in the below subsection.

SIDBI Grade A Eligibility 2023-24 – Nationality / Citizenship

A candidate must be either-

(i) a citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan refugee (who came over to India before 1st January 1962) with the intention of permanently settling in India; or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malwi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

SIDBI Grade A Eligibility 2023-24 – Age Criteria

The age limit as of 8th November 2023 is as follows:

Maximum: Not Exceeding 30 years

Candidates born not earlier than November 09, 1993 are only eligible to apply

Age Relaxation

Certain age relaxations are provided to some categories. We have mentioned the age relaxation criteria for different categories in the table below:

	PwBD [OBC candidates] [cumulative with OBC relaxation]	13 years
	PwBD [SC / ST candidates] [cumulative with SC/ST relaxation	15 years
4	Ex-servicemen candidates (as per the provisions of ExServicemen (Re-employment in Central Civil Services and Posts) Amendment Rules, 2012) Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/ Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) who have rendered at least 5 years military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year from the last date of receipt of application) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or physical disability attributable to military service or invalided	5 years
5	Persons affected by the 1984 riots	5 years

The candidate shall possess any of the following education qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in any subject OR CA / CS / CWA / CFA / CMA OR Bachelor’s degree in Law / Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering Minimum of 60% marks (SC / ST / PwBD applicants – 55%) in aggregate from Universities / Institutions recognized by GoI / UGC/ AICTE.	2 years in Scheduled Commercial Banks / All India Financial Institution in areas of MSME lending (except personal loan, educational loan, Vehicle Loan, Housing Loan, etc.) OR 3 years in systemically important NBFCs in MSME lending / Non-Individual lending / Corporate Lending
