BOI Credit Officer Selection Process
Depending on the number of applicants/eligible prospects, applicants for Bank of India hiring will be chosen through an online exam, GD, and personal interview. The following is the BOI Credit Officer screening process for 2022:
Online Examination
The BOI Credit Officer test 2022 is divided into three portions, as shown in the above table. The English Language part will be of the qualifying variety. The marks received in the English Language component will not be considered for calculating the final merit. Compared to the previous year's announcement, the BOI has modified the weightage of marks for each part this time. More information about the BOI Credit Officer test pattern is provided below.
Interview
The selection method for BOI Credit Officers in 2022 involves an online written test, a Group Discussion, and a personal interview. If you pass the Bank of India Credit Officer online written test, the bank will contact you for an interview in a 3:1 ratio. The Interview is worth a total of 100 points. If you are in the general/unreserved group, you must score at least 40%, and if you are in the SC/ST/OBC/PWD category, you must score at least 35%. When you arrive for the interview, you must bring the required papers, which will be specified in your call letter. You will not be permitted to attend the interview if you do not have the necessary eligibility documents.
Before or after the interview, no papers are sent directly to the Bank. An interview will be held following the successful completion of the online written test. The merit list will be compiled using the online assessment and the interview results. The selection of a BOI Credit Officer can be done in one of two methods, as detailed below:
- If there is an interview component to the online test, the BOI Credit Officer examination and interview will be weighted 80:20. The final merit will be calculated using the online exam results and the interview. For each category, the merit list will be shown in descending order.
- If there is a GD interview, the GD will be worth 30 points. The general category must score at least 40% in GD, whereas the reserved group must get at least 35%. Only those candidates who receive the minimum qualifying marks in the group discussion will be invited to the interview.
Note: If two applicants receive the same score on the online test or if the online exam is not held, the merit will be determined by the date of birth, with the candidate with the older age being put higher on the merit list.
