CTET Notification 2022
The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 16th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode in December 2022 (exact date will be intimated on the admit card of the candidate). Candidates can expect the notification shortly on the official website. However CBSE has mentioned the application fee for the exam.

CTET Notification 2022 – Application Form
The online registration for CTET 2022 December Cycle to begin shortly. Candidates can apply through the official website or by clicking the direct link which will be updated here post it is active. But before applying, go through the article and official notification to check if you meet all the criteria or not.

CTET Notification 2022 – Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria for CTET 2022 is as follows :
Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
OR Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). Those who have acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two year of such appointment as primary teacher".
Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.
OR
Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Program recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.

CTET Notification 2022 Exam Pattern
There will be two papers of CTET.
- Paper-I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V
- Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII
Note: A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both papers (Paper I and Paper II).

CTET Cut-Off
The candidates appearing in CTET will be issued with a mark sheet and all the Candidates securing 60% (General) and above marks will be issued an Eligibility Certificate for which the validity remains for a lifetime period (earlier which was for just 7 years).

Qualifying Marks
As per NCTE norms, a person who scores 60% or more in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass.
CTET Validity Period
- The Validity Period of the CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be lifetime (which was earlier for seven years) for all categories.
- There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate. A person who has qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.

CTET 2022 Exam Centre
Common Teacher Eligibility Test will be conducted in the following cities and the candidates have to make a choice for 4 exam centres at the time of registration from the below list. The first preference will be given to the chosen exam centre, in case of unavailability the CBSE can allot any exam centre.

CTET Notification December 2021
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the notification of CTET for the recruitment of Teachers in Primary (Class I-V) & Elementary Stage (Classes VI-VIII). The CTET exam (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) is conducted twice a year, in the July cycle and December Cycle. The December cycle notification is out & the exam is scheduled to take place from 16-12-2021 to 13-01-2022. CTET 2021 Results
The declaration of results will be done by CBSE after the examination of CTET is conducted. The CTET result will be declared within 04 (Four) weeks from the date of conduct of the examination. So the CTET 2021 Result will be declared tentatively by January/February 2022.
