IB Security Assistant/ MTS Exam Pattern
IB SA/MTS exam will be conducted in various tiers. Tier-1 will be of the objective type while Tier-2 will be of the descriptive type. We have mentioned below the exam pattern for the convenience of the candidates.

| Tier-I (Common for SA/Exe and MTS/Gen) | Online Exam of Objective type MCQs, divided into 5 parts containing 20 questions of 1 mark each on:
a) General Awareness
b) Quantitative Aptitude
c) Numerical/Analytical/Logical Ability & Reasoning
d) English Language &
e) General Studies [Negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer.] | 100 | 1 hour |
| Tier-II (Common for SA/Exe and MTS/GEN) | Offline Exam of Descriptive Type
a) Translation of a passage of 500 words from a local language/dialect to English and vice versa. | 40 | 1hour |
| Part of Tier-II for SA post | b) Spoken ability {to be assessed at the time of Tier-III exam (Interview/ Personality test) | 10 | - |
| Tier-III (for SA/Exe only) | Interview/Personality Test | 50 | |
- Tier-II exam will be qualifying in nature. Candidates who have applied for the post of SA/Exe must score 20 out of 50 and MTS/GEN needs to score 16 out of 40.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Tier-I.
