JAIIB Credit Limit Policy
The JAIIB Credit Limit Policy defines the rules for retaining passed subjects across multiple attempts and exam cycles. It ensures that candidates do not need to reattempt subjects they've already cleared, provided they complete the full certification within the stipulated time and attempt limits.

Note:
- Candidates must complete all four subjects within the 3-year window or 5 attempts, whichever is earlier.
- If all four papers are not cleared within this time, previously passed subjects will no longer remain valid.
- Credit retention is only applicable within the defined validity period. Post expiry, a fresh registration and clearing of all four papers is mandatory.
Credit Validity Rules for Old Syllabus Candidates
If you passed some subjects under the old syllabus and are now appearing under the revised syllabus, the following rules apply:
- If you used 3 attempts under the old syllabus, you will be given 2 additional attempts under the revised syllabus (making a total of 5).
- The 3-year time limit will still be calculated from the date of your first registration under the old syllabus.
- Credit is retained only within this combined time and attempt limit.
