NABARD Development Assistant 2022- Eligibility
Aspiring candidates for NABARD Development Assistant must first make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria as specified by NABARD in their notification. The eligibility criteria for NABARD Development Assistant Exam 2022 are as follows.
Age Criteria
As of 01 September 2022,
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 35 years
- NABARD grants the following age relaxation:

- No cumulative age relaxation will be available to any candidate, save as provided above.
- Candidates seeking age relaxation are required to submit copies of necessary certificate(s) at the time of document verification.
Educational Qualifications
Development Assistant – Graduation Degree from a Recognized University/Institute
- 50% Marks for General Category
- Pass Class for SC/ST/PWBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates.
Development Assistant (Hindi) – Graduation Degree from Recognized University/Institute with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subjects.
- 50% Marks for General Category
- Pass Class for SC/ST/PWBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates.
Note:
1. Some Universities/Institutes do not award Class or percentage of marks and allot Aggregate Grade Points (e.g. CGPA/OGPA/CPI, etc.). In case University/Institute defines criteria for conversion of Aggregate Grade Point into Class and/or percentage of marks, the same will be accepted. However, where the University/Institute does not define criteria for conversion of Aggregate Grade Point into Class and/or percentage of marks, the undefined parameter(s) would be worked out as under:

2. A candidate belonging to the Ex-servicemen category should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defense service.
3. Candidates applying for posts in a particular State should be proficient in the official language of the State (i.e. should be able to read, write, speak and understand the language). The Official language of the state would be the main language declared in the State gazette of the concerned state.
