Eight persons- P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W are sitting in a linear row but not necessarily in the same order. Four of them are facing the north direction and four of them are facing the south direction.
Q sits second to the left of V.
Three persons sit between Q and T.
T sits second to the right of W.
W does not face the south direction.
P sits immediate right of V.
V does not face north direction.
Only one person sits between P and R.
R does not sits adjacent to W.
S sits second to the left of R.
R and S face same direction.
Not more than two persons sitting adjacent to each other face same direction.
Thus, Case 2 and Case 3 get cancelled.
R sits fourth to the left of U.
Four of them are facing the north direction and four of them are facing the south direction.
Thus, P, Q and T face north direction.
This is the final arrangement.
Three persons i.e. Q, R and W will remain in the same position after rearrangement.
