Solution :

Nine persons- A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I and J live in a nine-storeyed floors. The bottommost floor is numbered as 1, the floor above it as 2, and so on. They were born in non-consecutive years starting from 1960 to 2010, but not necessarily in the same order. No two persons were born in the same year. Their present age is considered as of the year 2022.

Three floors are between D and G, who was born in 1974.

Thus, age of G = 2022 - 1974 = 48

At most two floors are above D.

Difference between the ages of G and I is 15 years.

I lives on even numbered floor below G.

1974 + 15 = 1989

Age of I = 2022 - 1989 = 33

The one who lives on 4th floor is 10 years younger than I.

33 - 10 = 23

2022 - 23 = 1999

Thus, Case 2 gets cancelled.

F lives immediately below B, whose age is a square number below 30.

Possible age = 16, 25

2022 - 16 = 2006 or

2022 - 25 = 1997

A is 5 years younger than B.

Then, age of A will be

11(2011), which is not possible

Thus, age of B will be 25 and age of A will be 20.

Two floors are between I and F.

Thus, Case 1 gets cancelled.
