If each person is paying Rs. 20 for R1 and Rs. 25 for R3, then find the total amount collected in city A from R1 and R3 together.
Solution :
Apartment | A | B | C | D |
R1 | 4200 | 5000 | 8200 | 6000 |
R2 | 7500 | 2800 | 8000 | 5400 |
R3 | 4600 | 6400 | 7500 | 6200 |
Number of persons in R1 in city A = 4200
Amount collected = 4200 * 20 = Rs. 84000
Number of persons in R3 in city A = 4600
Amount collected = 4600 * 25 = Rs. 1,15,000
Total amount = 84000 + 115000 = Rs. 199000
