If literate population of state F is 20% more than literate population of state E then find the literate population of state F.
1.1000
2.2000
3.1700
4.1500
5.2100
Correct Answer : 4
Solution :
For state A-
Total population = 10000 * 13% = 1300
Literate population = 1300 * 7/13 = 700
Illiterate population = 1300 - 700 = 600
Similarly, we get-
State
Total population
Literate population
Illiterate population
A
1300
700
600
B
2100
1100
1000
C
1900
1100
800
D
2700
1500
1200
E
2000
1250
750
Literate population of state E = 1250
Literate population of state F = 120% * 1250 = 1500
