Conclusions:

I. Y>X  

II. V≥Z

1. Both conclusions I and II are definitely true.

2. Both the conclusions I and II are not true.

3. Either conclusion I or conclusion II is true.

4. Conclusion I is definitely true and conclusion II is definitely not true.

5. Conclusion I is definitely not true and conclusion II is definitely true.

Correct Answer : 5
Solution :

Combining both the statements:

Y≤U>W>X

if Y=U then Y>X. If Y<U, then we cannot determine whether Y is greater than or less than V.

So, Y>X is definitely not true.

Again combining the two statements:

V=W≥Z

So, V≥Z is definitely true.

Hence, option e.
