Correct Answer : 4
Solution :

Let investment of Preeti = a

Then, investment of Rahul = a - 2400

Period of investment of Preeti = 12 months

Period of investment of Rahul = 12 - 4 = 8 months

Share of Preeti in profit = 1092

Share of Rahul in profit = 392

Then, profit ratio, Preeti: Rahul = 1092: 392 = (a * 12): ((a - 2400) * 8)

a = Rs.5200
