Let income of Dinesh and Sukesh is ₹'3a' and ₹'5a' respectively and the expenditure of Dinesh and Sukesh is ₹'7b' and ₹'9b' respectively.

3a - 7b = ₹9000 ---(1)

and

5a - 9b = ₹23000 ---(2)

From I and II -

a = 10000 and b = 3000

Income of Dinesh and Sukesh is ₹30000 and ₹50000 respectively and the expenditure of Dinesh and Sukesh is ₹21000 and ₹27000 respectively.

Difference between expenditure and savings of Dinesh = 21000 - 9000 = 12000 ≠ 10000

Sum of expenditure of Dinesh and Sukesh together = 21000 + 27000 = ₹48000

Respective ratio of income and savings of Dinesh = 30000 : 9000 = 10:3.

Hence option 'b' is correct.
