With a view to promoting and bringing philately into the mainstream of the education system, the Department of Posts has launched the philately scholarship scheme Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana. This scheme aims to promote aptitude and research in stamps as a hobby and generate interest in philately among students. I. This scholarship will be provided at the all-India level, and each Postal Circle will provide a maximum of 40 scholarships to 10 students each from classes 6, 7, 8, and 9.
