RBI Grade B Eligibility- Educational Qualification
Educational Qualification is one of the most important parameters of RBI Grade B Eligibility. The minimum educational qualifications required for the RBI Grade B 2024 examination are as follows:

For a) and b) above, a minimum of 55 percent marks or an equivalent grade is required in aggregate of all semesters/years from a recognized Indian or foreign University / Institute. |

a. A Master's Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics/ Applied Statistics & Informatics with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years; OR
b. Master's Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an Institute of repute; OR
c. Master's degree course in Data Science/ Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning/ Big Data Analytics, with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years from a recognized University/Institute, an institute of national importance, UGC/ AICTE approved
programme; OR
d. Four-year Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years in Data Science/ AI/ ML/ Big Data Analytics from a recognized University/ Institute, an institute of national importance, UGC/ AICTE approved program; OR

RBI Grade B Eligibility - CGPA to Percentage Conversion
Some institutes/ universities grant CGPAs, so for those who define the criteria for conversion of CGPA to percentage, the same will be accepted. Those who have not defined the criteria can follow the below-mentioned criteria:

RBI Grade B Eligibility 2024 - Nationality
To fulfill the nationality needs, candidates must be either of the following:
- A citizen of India
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
RBI Grade B Number of Attempts
The maximum RBI Grade B number of attempts is six for candidates belonging to the General category. However, for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories, there is no limit on the number of attempts.
