The selection process for IFSCA Grade A Officer involves three phases. These phases are:

  • Phase I (online screening examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each)
  • Phase II (online examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each)

The Exam pattern for the phase 1 & phase 2 online examination is different. The detailed exam pattern for both streams and both phases are given below:

IFSCA Grade A Phase 1 Exam Pattern

 

Here are some of the important highlights for IFSCA Phase 1 Pattern:

  • For both Paper 1 & Paper 2, the maximum marks are 100 marks each.
  • For Paper 1, the cut off is 30% and for paper 2 of both streams, the cut off is 40% each.
  • The duration for both the papers remain same. The duration is 60 minutes each for Paper 1 & Paper 2.
  • The aggregate cut off percentage for both Paper 1 & 2 is 40%.
  • In Paper 1, for each section 25 questions are asked for 1 marks each.
  • For Paper 2 of General Stream, 50 questions are asked for 2 marks each.

Only those candidates who will clear Phase 1 will sit for Phase 2. The IFSCA Phase 2 Pattern is given below:

  • The duration for both the papers is 60 minutes each.
  • The maximum marks are 100 marks each for both Paper 1 & Paper 2.
  • For Paper 1, the cut off is 30% and for paper 2 of both streams, the cut off is 40% each.
