RPF SI Salary Structure

Candidates are advised to familiarize themselves with the RPF SI Salary Structure and job profile before applying. Selected candidates will receive a basic salary of Rs 35,400 as per the 7th Pay Commission Guideline, with additional perks and allowances, resulting in a gross salary ranging from Rs 61,000 to Rs 68,000.

From January 1st, 2024, the Dearness Allowance (DA) payable to Railway Employees has been increased from 46% to 50% of their Basic Pay.

The salary structure is classified in majorly three cities that is

1. Class X: Metropolis (Population 50 Lakh or above)
2. Class Y: Metropolis + Other Big Cities (Population between 5 – 50 Lakh)
3. Class Z: Village + Small Cities (Population below 5 Lakh)

Note: The HRA is given at 27%, 18%, and 9% of their salary for Class X, Y, and Z respectively. However, if DA crosses 50%, then HRA will be revised to 30%, 20%, and 10% respectively.
