SBI CBO Eligibility Criteria

Candidates aspiring to apply for the SBI Circle Based Officer (CBO) Recruitment 2025 must meet specific eligibility conditions related to education, age, work experience, and language proficiency. SBI CBO Educational Qualification

Applicants must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or possess an equivalent qualification approved by the central government. SBI CBO Experience (Post Qualification)

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as of 30 April 2025 in an officer position in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank listed in the Second Schedule of the RBI. Applicants are required to submit a job profile certificate from their current or previous employer. If the job profile significantly differs from that of a Scale-I Generalist Officer in SBI, the application is liable to be rejected at any stage. The bank's decision in this regard will be final and binding.

The selection process for the SBI Circle Based Officer (CBO) Recruitment 2025 comprises four distinct stages:

1. Online Examination: As per the SBI CBO Exam Pattern,candidates will first undergo an online test consisting of two parts:
   • The objective test includes 120 questions covering English language, banking knowledge, general awareness/economy, and computer aptitude. The total duration is 2 hours.
   • The descriptive test assesses candidates' letter and essay writing skills, totaling 50 marks with a duration of 30 minutes. There is no negative marking in either section.
2. Screening: After the online examination, a screening committee will evaluate the applications and experience documents of shortlisted candidates. This stage verifies the candidates' work experience and ensures it aligns with the job profile of a Scale-I Generalist Officer at SBI.
