What is SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern?
 
The Preliminary Exam comprises 100 objective questions divided into English Language (30 marks), Numerical Ability (35 marks), and Reasoning Ability (35 marks). The total duration is 60 minutes, with each section allotted 20 minutes. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. Marks obtained in this stage are qualifying in nature and are not considered for final selection.
 
What is SBI Clerk Mains Exam Pattern?
 
The Mains Exam includes 190 questions for 200 marks, to be completed in 2 hours 40 minutes. It has four sections — General/Financial Awareness (50 marks), General English (40 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks), and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude (60 marks) each with a fixed sectional timing. Similar negative marking applies in this stage as well. The final selection is based on marks obtained in the Mains Exam, subject to qualifying the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT).
