SIDBI Grade A Eligibility

SIDBI Grade A Eligibility must be known to each candidate. The candidates must make sure that they meet all the SIDBI exam eligibility parameters to avoid any kind of issue in their recruitment process. The parameters on which eligibility is checked are nationality, age limit, educational qualification, experience, etc.

SIDBI Grade A Eligibility 2024

Before we move on to the detailed SIDBI Grade A Eligibility, let us look at the cut off dates that are extremely important. This means that the candidates must meet the SIDBI Grade A Eligibility as on or before the dates mentioned below.

SIDBI Exam Eligibility

In this section, we will discuss all the parameters on which eligibility is measured. The candidates must fulfill all the SIDBI Grade A eligibility as failure in any of these may result in the cancellation of the candidature.

SIDBI Grade A Nationality

To fulfill the SIDBI Grade A Nationality, candidate must be either-

a citizen of India or
a subject of Nepal or
a subject of Bhutan or
a Tibetan refugee (who came over to India before 1st January 1962) with the intention of permanently settling in India; or
a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malwi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

SIDBI Grade A Age Limit

The maximum SIDBI Grade A Age Limit is 30 years. This means that the candidates must not exceed 30 years of age. It is expected that candidates born not earlier than November 09, 1994 will only be eligible to apply. The reference date for the calculation of age limit is not yet out. It will be updated here as and when out.

SIDBI Grade A Age Relaxation

Certain age relaxations are provided to some categories. We have mentioned the SIDBI Grade A age relaxation criteria for different categories in the table below:

SIDBI Grade A Educational Qualification

SIDBI Grade A Educational Qualification

The candidate shall possess any of the following education qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in any subject
OR
CA / CS / CWA / CFA / CMA
OR
Bachelor’s degree in Law / Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering

Minimum of 60% marks (SC / ST / PwBD applicants – 55%) in aggregate from Universities / Institutions recognized by GoI / UGC/ AICTE.

Minimum Post Educational Qualification Work Experience

2 years in Scheduled Commercial Banks / All India Financial Institution in areas of MSME lending (except personal loan, educational loan, Vehicle Loan, Housing Loan, etc.)
OR
3 years in systemically important NBFCs in MSME lending / Non-Individual lending / Corporate Lending

SIDBI Grade A Number of Attempts

There is no mention of the number of attempts in the official notification. We will update the changes here. However, it is expected that the candidates can sit for the exam until and unless they meet the complete SIDBI Grade A Eligibility.

SIDBI Grade B Eligibility

Well, Grade B post is for Managers. If you are looking for SIDBI Grade B Eligibility, then you are at a right place. If we talk about SIDBI Grade B Age limit, the candidate should not be more than 37 years of age as on August 31, 2024. To fulfill the SIDBI Grade B Eligibility in terms of educational qualification, the candidates must be graduates in relevant discipline and should have at least 4 years experience in officers cadre in public sector banks.
