What is the SIDBI Grade A phase 1 exam pattern?

 

The SIDBI Grade A Phase 1 exam is an online objective test of 200 marks with a duration of 120 minutes and seven sections. It tests English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, MSME Finance & Management, and stream-specific knowledge. English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge are qualifying sections, while the other three sections are used for Phase 2 shortlisting. 

Except for English, all sections are provided in English and Hindi. For the General Stream, key topics include MSME financing, KYC, due diligence, financial ratios, working capital, NPA/IRAC norms, NBFC financing, and credit risk assessment. Candidates must qualify in the required sections and score well in the merit sections to move to Phase 2.

What is the SIDBI Grade A phase 2 exam pattern?

 

The SIDBI Grade A Phase 2 exam has two papers that test candidates' writing skills, domain knowledge, and understanding of MSME-related financial topics. Paper 1 is a descriptive English paper covering Essay, Précis, Comprehension, and Business Correspondence, while Paper 2 has objective and descriptive sections covering MSMEs, KYC, due diligence, financial ratios, credit assessment, NPA/IRAC norms, NBFC financing, Investment Banking, AIFs, ARCs, and MSME development. The descriptive section of Paper II requires detailed answers in English or Hindi. Each paper carries 75 marks, making 150 marks in total, and Phase 2 marks are combined with the interview score for final selection.
