SSC GD Physical Test 2025, PET PST Criteria For Males, Females

The SSC GD Physical Test 2025 is an important part of the recruitment process for General Duty (GD) Constables. It includes the Physical Standard Test (PST) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates who clear the Computer-Based Test (CBT) must qualify in these physical tests to move forward to the Medical Examination and Document Verification stages. SSC GD Physical Test Date 2025

 

The SSC GD Constable Exam was held from February 4 to February 25, 2025 for the previous cycle. The SSC GD Physical Test date is yet to be out from the official sources. The GD Constable selection process involves several stages: a computer-based test, a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), a Physical Standard Test (PST), and a medical examination. The PST assesses candidates on various physical criteria:

  1. Running: Completing a specified distance within a given time.
  2. Height: Meeting the minimum height requirements.
  3. Chest Measurements: Achieving the required chest size (for male candidates).
  4. Weight: Falling within the acceptable weight range.

 

SSC GD Physical Test 2025

 

Candidates must be physically fit to qualify for the SSC GD Physical Test 2025. Regular exercise, proper nutrition, and practice will improve performance. A well-planned preparation strategy will help in clearing the PST and PET smoothly. The SSC GD Constable physical test is divided into two stages:

  1. Physical Standard Test (PST): Measures height, weight, and chest size (for male candidates).

The physical efficiency test for male and the physical efficiency test for female is different. The physical efficiency test includes a running test, which is different for male and female candidates. Weight is an important part of the Physical Standard Test (PST) and differs for male and female candidates. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has set specific weight standards that candidates must meet to move on to the next stages of the recruitment process. The SSC GD Constable Physical Standard Tests are followed by the SSC GD Physical Efficiency Test and the Medical Standard Test. Limbs and JointsLimbs, hands, and feet should be well-developed with full movement in all joints.
Old FracturesNo signs of old or improperly healed fractures.
Joint MovementJoints should move freely and without any issues.
Feet and ToesFeet and toes should be properly formed.
Congenital DefectsNo visible birth defects or malformations.
General HealthNo past diseases or health issues that could affect fitness.
TeethMust have at least 14 healthy teeth for proper chewing.
Genitourinary HealthNo visible disease in the genitourinary system.
