SSC Selection Post Phase 13 Nationality

A candidate must belong to one of the following categories:

1. A citizen of India,
2. A subject of Nepal,
3. A subject of Bhutan,
4. A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962, with the intention to permanently settle in India,
5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from any of the following countries to permanently settle in India:
   • Pakistan
   • Burma
   • Sri Lanka
   • East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania – formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire)
   • Ethiopia
   • Vietnam

SSC Selection Post Phase 13 Age Limit

The eligibility criteria for the SSC Selection Post are important for determining whether candidates meet the required qualifications and age limits for various posts. All dates are as per the last year’s notification.

• Date of Birth: The Date of Birth recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate (or an equivalent certificate) will be accepted for determining age eligibility. No request for changes to the date will be entertained.

For the posts for which the age limit is 18-25 years	Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1999 and not later than 01-01-2006.
For the posts for which the age limit is 18-27 years	Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1997 and not later than 01-01-2006.
For the posts for which the age limit is 18-28 years	Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1996 and not later than 01-01-2006.
For the posts for which the age limit is 18-30 years	Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1994 and not later than 01-01-2006.
For the posts for which the age limit is 18-35 years	Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1989 and not later than 01-01-2006.
For the posts for which the age limit is 18-37 years	Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1987 and not later than 01-01-2006.
For the posts for which the age limit is 18-42 years	Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1982 and not later than 01-01-2006.
For the posts for which the age limit is 20-25 years	Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1999 and not later than 01-01-2004.
For the posts for which age limit is 21-25 years	Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1999 and not later than 01-01-2003.
For the posts for which the age limit is 21-28 years	Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1996 and not later than 01-01-2003.
For the posts for which the age limit is 21-30 years	Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1994 and not later than 01-01-2003.
For the posts for which the age limit is 25-30 years	Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1994 and not later than 01-01-1999.

SSC Selection Post Phase 13 Age Limit Relaxation

Certain sections of candidates are entitled to age relaxation. The age limits for the same are as detailed in the table below.

09	Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof (SC/ ST)	8 years

SSC Selection Post Phase 13 Age Relaxation – For Group ‘C’ Posts Only

The following age relaxations are applied to only those candidates who are applying to Group C posts.

10	Central Govt. Civilian Employees who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous  service  as of the closing  date  for receipt of application	Up to 40 years of age
11	Central Govt. Civilian Employees (SC/ST) who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as of the closing date for receipt of application	Up to 45 years of age
12	Widows/ Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated and who are not remarried	Up to 35 years of age
13	Widows/ Divorced Women/Women judicially separated and who are not remarried (SC/ ST)	Up to 40 years of age

SSC Selection Post Phase 13 Educational Qualification

The education qualifications for candidates applying at the Matric, Intermediate level, and Graduate level are different from each other. The details below show the educational criteria set by the SSC.
