Steps to Download SSC Stenographer Admit Card
The following are the steps to be followed to download the SSC Stenographer 2023 Admit Card.
- Candidates should visit the official website of SSC and click on ‘Admit Card’ appearing on the upper-left side of the home page. They can also click on the link https://doc.ssc.nic.in/Portal/AdmitCard for downloading the admit card from regional websites.
- Click on the URL of the Regional Websites under whose jurisdiction the selected centers of examination in the application form are located.
- On the homepage of the Regional Website, click on the ‘Admit card’ or ‘Download Admit Card’ tab to get access to Admit card.
- Fill in the required credentials such as Registered ID, Date of Birth or Candidate’s and Candidate’s Father’s Name along with the date of birth to download the PDF of Admit card.
- Take two printouts of the Admit Card PDF.
SSC Stenographer Admit Card Details
Candidates who have filled the application form in response to the advertisement and whose applications have been provisionally accepted by the Commission will be provided Roll Numbers and Admission Certificates by the concerned Regional Offices of the Commission to be allowed for appearing for Computer-based examination. In the same way, the Commission will issue the Admit cards to the selected candidates for further stages of the process.
Though the Commission issues the examination details two weeks before the exam on its regional websites, however, the candidates should contact the authorized Regional Offices of the Commission in case they don’t locate their detail one week before the exams on the respective regional websites.
Candidates while communicating with the Commission should without fail to mention their Registration Number, Registered Email-ID, Mobile Number, and other essential details such as their name, date of birth, and examination name. Without the appropriate details, any communication will not sustain with the Commission.
SSC Stenographer Admit Card – Documents You Need To Carry
Candidates are also required to carry at least two passport-size recent photographs along with valid photo-ID proof possessing a Date of Birth on it similar to that mentioned on admit card and printout of admit card. The Commission has notified the valid photo-ID proof to be carried to the examination hall in the notification that includes:
- Driving License
- PAN Card
- Passport
- Aadhar Card or Printout of E-Aadhar Card
- Voter’s ID Card
- School/ College ID Card
- Employer ID Card whether given by Government or PSU or Private Company
- Ex-Serviceman Discharge Book provided by Defence Ministry (For candidates who are Ex-Serviceman)
- Central or State Government issued ID card having a photo on it.
Important Points to Remember
Candidates should note that any mismatch in date of birth mentioned in photo-ID proof and admit card will lead to their disallowance from appearing for the examination. The person with disabilities, who are using the scribe for examination, shall carry a Medical Certificate/Undertaking/Photocopy of the original Scribe’s ID proof.
Candidates while submitting the application form should pay attention to the quality of images of their signature and photograph uploaded by them. Downgrade or blurred photographs and signatures or any one of them in the application form will lead to the rejection of their application. Since these details appear on the admit card of the candidates they enable the Supervisor to cross-verify the candidates’ identity.
After clearing the CBT, the candidates will be issued an SSC Stenographer Admit Card for skill test and document verification which they should carry along with them while appearing for these stages of the selection process.
