SSC Stenographer Nationality 2025

 

For the SSC Stenographer exam, candidates must meet specific citizenship requirements.   • A candidate must be one of the following:
  • A citizen of India
  • A subject of Nepal
  • A subject of Bhutan
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, or the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
  • Candidates from Nepal, Bhutan, or those who have migrated from the listed countries must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
  • Candidates needing a certificate of eligibility may take the exam, but their appointment will be confirmed only after the Government of India issues the necessary eligibility certificate.

 

SSC Stenographer Eligibility For Ex-Servicemen 

 

The following are the eligibility requirements for ex-servicemen competing in SSC Stenographer 2025:

– Must have received a gratuity (pension holders).
Military Service– Served as Combatants or Non-Combatants in the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force.
Gallantry Award Winners– Awarded gallantry awards by the Armed Forces.
Medical Grounds– Relieved on medical grounds with a medical disability pension.
Army Postal Service– Served more than six months on deputation in the Army Postal Service before April 14, 1987.
– Retired from the Army Postal Service or released on medical or other disability pensions.

Candidates serving as a Service Clerk in the last year of their military service.  Only jobs at Armed Forces Headquarters and the Inter-Service Organisation will be open to such individuals. Sons, daughters, and dependents of ex-servicemen will not be eligible for an age reduction.
