The SSC Stenographer Syllabus is released along with the SSC Stenographer Notification 2026 by the Staff Selection Commission for the SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Exam 2026. SSC Stenographer 2026 New Exam Pattern 

 

The SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern will have 2 stages - Online computer-based exams and skill Tests.

Online Computer Based Exam Pattern

 

The SSC Stenographer computer-based Exam will be held for 2 hours. A new change this year is the introduction of sectional timing, where each section must be attempted within a fixed time limit. The details of the SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D exam are as follows:

SSC Stenographer Syllabus 2026

 

The SSC Stenographer Exam 2026 is a great opportunity to work with the Government of India in Grade C and Grade D posts across different departments. The exam has two stages: Tier 1 (Computer-Based Test – CBT) and Tier 2 (Shorthand Skill Test). Candidates must pass Tier 1 to qualify for Tier 2. The SSC Constable syllabus consists of 3 sections which are General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and English Language & Comprehension. To score well, it is important to understand the SSC Stenographer Syllabus and Exam Pattern for both stages.
