UGC NET Exam Date: The UGC NET exam date has been released, and the exam has been scheduled to be held between 31st December to 7th January 2026. This national-level eligibility test is conducted to determine candidates' eligibility for the posts of Assistant Professor and for the award of the Junior Research Fellowship.

Candidates preparing for the exam must plan their studies strategically, as the subject-wise exam schedule, shift timings, and other important UGC NET dates are expected to be released shortly. When has the UGC NET December exam been scheduled?

 

The UGC-NET December 2025 examination will be conducted by the NTA in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode from 31 December 2025 to 07 January 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts each day Shift I from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Shift II from 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM. Subject-wise exam dates and shifts have been scheduled across multiple days. What are the shift timings for UGC NET 2025-26 exam?

 

The UGC NET 2025–26 examination will be conducted in two shifts each day to accommodate candidates across various subjects. The exam will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, and candidates must report according to the shift allotted to their subject.
