The SBI CBO 2027 selection process will be confirmed with the release of the official notification. In the previous recruitment, SBI followed a multi-stage process comprising:
Online Examination: Includes an objective test of 120 marks and a descriptive test of 50 marks, covering English language, banking knowledge, general awareness/economy, and computer aptitude, along with essay and letter writing.
- Screening: SBI's committee verifies candidates' experience and job profiles against the Scale-I Generalist Officer role, and only eligible profiles are shortlisted for interview.
- Interview: Conducted for 50 marks, and candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks decided by SBI.
- Local Language Test: Candidates must prove proficiency in the local language of their applied circle unless exempted by educational proof.

The Descriptive Test is conducted immediately after the Objective Test and assesses candidates' written communication skills in English. - Starting Basic Pay: ₹48,480 plus two advance increments at the time of joining.
