IBPS RRB Law Officer Negative Marking 2026
IBPS RRB Law Officer 2026 follows a negative marking system in the objective examination. For every question answered incorrectly, 0.25 or one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted from the candidate's score. IBPS RRB Law Officer Cut-Off and Shortlisting 2026
Candidates appearing for Officer Scale-II must secure the minimum required score in each test of the Single Online Examination to be considered for the interview. However, merely qualifying in individual tests is not sufficient. Candidates must also obtain a sufficiently high overall score to be shortlisted according to merit. The minimum qualifying marks are 40% for general candidates and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates. The relative weightage of the Online Examination and Interview is 80:20 for the Officers cadre. Candidates must qualify in both the Single Online Examination and the Common Interview and rank sufficiently high in the final merit to be considered for the provisional allotment process.
