Factors Affecting Calculating Karnataka PSI Cut Off
The Karnataka PSI Cut Off marks will be released after the process of examination is concluded. The cut-off marks are different each year. The variation in the cut-off marks takes place considering different factors. These factors are as follows
The number of vacancies to be filled plays an important role in the cut-off being high or low. In case the vacancies are high, the cut-off marks will be lower. But, if there are only a few vacancies then the cut-off will be higher because the competition level will increase.
- Number Of Candidates Taking The Examination
The higher the number of candidates taking the exam, the cut-off too will increase. If no. of candidates taking the exam is less then the cut off too will also be lower.
- Difficulty Level Of The Exam
The level of difficulty of exam question paper also affects the calculations of the cut-off marks. The more difficult the questions paper will be, the cut-off marks will be lower, whereas an easier question paper will have higher cut-off marks
- Number Of Stages In The Selection Process
The number of stages in the selection process also plays a role in deciding the cutoff. Fewer the number of stages in the selection process will mean that the cut-off will be higher, whereas a higher no. of stages of the selection process will have a lower cut-off.
The Reservations too play an important role in deciding the cut Offs.
